Specialist Work

Rent a Student have access to numerous specialist projects based on contracted undergraduate jobs that can be performed on-line. Many of these projects pay very well but involve expertise in a particular topic or field. For example Mobile Applications for iPad, Android, Windows Mobile; Website design and development, Photoshop, statistical analysis, copy writing etc

Other projects we have access to include more mundane tasks such as proof reading, translation, article writing, research, data entry etc.

The projects we list can be from 2-10 hours, daily, weekly, part-time or full-time. Pay varies from R15 per hour to R100’s per hour and/or fixed project payment. Undergraduate jobs are for students nearing the end of their courses with experience.

If you are interested in the above, then please use the contact us form for specialists below with a detailed message stating your area of skill and we will forward you potential work opportunities.

Please note that you may have to deal directly with the employer for some of the work, especially for detailed instructions. Also, the work is available via a bidding system so we cannot guarantee you will be selected.

Pleasure, just trying to do our bit for the youth, government doesn’t seem to be doing much and with the grant situation these jobs are invaluable. SPREAD THE WORD!

      • Comment made by Cathy on Feb 20th 2014 at 6:14 am: Reply

Don’t blame the government, it’s not their job to provide jobs (or any other free services eg. housing, water, electricity, social grants etc.) People in SA need to ditch the something for nothing attitude and make their own way.

Heh Cathy, not sure what you response is in reply too? What I can say is Rent-a-Student is finding work for students, but you think we can get a grant or any assistance from Government? I tried, nothing. If we got some assistance we could help many more students. If you comment is about grants for students, then the Government SHOULD be helping!

I have been trying to update my details but I can’t upload my cv because none of the formats e.g. .docx, .rtf, .pdf, etc are allowed. What formats are allowed?

Are jobs only available for varsity students? If not what is the youngest age applicable for most of these job opportunities? Just came across this site, quite interested. Big thumbs up for what you are doing for the youth of this beautiful country!

    • Comment made by John on Oct 25th 2014 at 8:52 am: Reply

      Thanks Georgia

The site is for all Youth. 17 is the youngest. Clearly we are mostly helping Students, but youth but also apply. The employers do not insist on students, but we check CV’s and place the most appropriate.
