We had an amazing 2016 doing transcripts for many clients. In 2017 we want to start from a solid base of 100 transcribers.

Please therefore apply for this great part time work from home project. Google Drive is used to store and transfer files so a gmail account is useful!

Typically you will be asked to transcribe 30-90 minutes of audio into a word document. Each audio will take approximately 2-4 times the audio file length to transcribe i.e. 30 mins audio may take 60 – 120 mins to transcribe. For each 30 minutes of audio you are paid R80 (or part thereof). In some cases (urgent work or poor quality audio) we will increase the R80. We may also pay a per job rate if the task is specific enough e.g. translate from Afrikaans to English.

with languages you can transcribe to English. You must be 99% accurate as poor quality work will not be rewarded.

You WILL be required to sign a standard non-disclosure declaration.
