Job Description

Excellent opportunity to assist an Entrepreneur with a small (growing) business. Mornings Mon-Fri or Flexi-time.

Students, the opportunities are broad based and can be categorised into 3 sections (see below). You must be able to handle at least 2 and ideally all 3.

1. Manufacturing: The person needs to be able to work neatly with hands and have a good eye for detail

– painting clock faces,

– sanding down the sides,

– touching up sides,

– spraying hands of mechanism,

– assembling mechanism to clock,

– folding boxes and put stickers on,

– package wall clock into box

– package wall clocks into boxes of 10 and take to storage

 

2.  Managing, Marketing and Invoicing: I will still do this part, but will be great if I can learn someone to take it over

– Update social media pages

– Replying to customers (with questions, orders, invoices)

– Packaging of orders and organizing courier (to collect)

– Keeping stock (new orders and orders out)

– Order new raw material for new clocks

– Collecting raw material from different suppliers around Pretoria

 

3.  Markets / Expos

– a few markets till the end of the year

1.  Sanlam Contemporary Fair in JHB (Thurs – Sun) in mid Oct
2.  Finery Fair End Sept (Sat & Sun)
3.  Kamers Irene (Mon – Sun) End Nov

Assistance with the set up of the stand and managing sales from the stand.
