Part-time jobs in Cape Town:Looking for a night shift monitor at Cape Town tv (CTV)

Cape Town TV (CTV), the community television broadcaster serving Cape Town, requires a Night Shift Monitor to work at its Final Control Centre in Observatory.

Duties include:

Monitoring the broadcast for video and audio problems;
Switching channels on the video and audio switchers;
Switching to live broadcasts and liaising with the Studio Control Room;
Ensuring correct audio levels are maintained;
Adjusting the audio delay unit to ensure audio synchronisation;
Carrying out instructions for problem solving activities;
Recording DVDs of the broadcast;
Reporting faults to the Broadcast Manager.

The hours are 5.30pm to 10pm on weekdays; 7.30pm to 9pm on weekends. You will work two to three shifts per week.
