Freelancing
Ever tried freelancing? It can be difficult to secure jobs initially, but once you have completed a few there are many opportunities. Start by offering you services cheaply and then ramp up as you complete more jobs. Most jobs are internet based, from data entry to computer programming, graphic design work, website design, mobile apps etc.
Be Careful if you take on data entry jobs, the rates can be low, but sometimes not. Look for individuals posting projects rather than companies.
NEVER pay to take a job!!! NEVER!
The largest freelancing agency is Freelancer but there are plenty of others. Please email me your experiences especially any good one!
NOTE: If students want to form groups then Rent-a-Student can facilitate this e.g. we pool 20 web designers and look for jobs to suit the skills of the students. Again if you would like us to do this.
