Hi John. I’m one of five directors of a small luxury goods distribution business which is expanding rapidly. We need both a part-time sales rep and online store controller (someone pursuing the relevant studies); ideally one person who can undertake both tasks. I’ve just submitted advertisements for the two positions. Is this the best way to go about looking for the right student?

Apologies for the tardy reply, been moving home. Rates depend on hours. We charge min R200 for each session as otherwise students will not arrive (they have to pay taxi fares etc). Otherwise if over 3 hours, then R60-R80 per hour. Email me directly if you wish to proceed.

Hello,
I have not used your website before but it seems as if it will be very handy. 🙂
I am looking for a student (or students) who can deliver information leaflets (flyers) to schools and some businesses. They will not be required to do handing out of flyers. The student(s) must reside in Pretoria and have their own reliable transport. Please advise on rates and how this could fit in with your company.
I also require tutors (Afrikaans and English speaking) for high school students… if you have anybody who is interested.
Looking forward to your reply!

Hi Lesley
We operate not for profit. Rates vary depending on the work required. Typically from R50-R100 per hour. If job is short (less than 3 hours) then flat fee of min R200 is charged. We provide students with work experience and opportunity to earn some money. Some students need for education and family commitments. John

Hi John
Do you every send out notifications to appropriate applicants? Do you allow the employer to view and select from applicants?
Elizabeth
Comment made by John on Dec 12th 2015 at 11:26 am: Reply
Elizabeth, for large jobs we filter applicants and can provide a service (chargable) to employers if they wish. For small jobs (1-2 students) we typically just put the employer in touch with the students and/or have the students apply direct to employer rather than via ourselves.
